Dear Stephen, Since this game is (hopefully) a comedy, I do NOT want the walkthrough available to ordinary players as this high-speed ‘whizz’ though the game will spoil the fun! I know that you need it to test the game, and possibly the judges also. For the people who demand that a game must be 'winnable'; I have hidden ten gold rings in various places to keep them happy! Why do I not want the walkthrough published? 1. The 'magic word' UNDO is available in this game. 2. There are no cryptic conundrums or difficult logic puzzles to solve. 3. There is no labyrinth of 'twisty little passages', all looking the same, to navigate through. 4. The INFO or ABOUT commands give lots of information and help and clues on how to play this game and there is lots of HELP available in various locations. 5. The whole point of the game is for the absent-minded Professor to keep getting into trouble – the walk-through of course solves all the problems he encounters, and avoids those which are avoidable. This game was written using Inform7 which has, as you know, a program 'self-test' function using various test 'scripts'. The scripts are of course 'disabled' now for release, but these are the texts of the sequence of four scripts for version 12 of 'Professor Frank'(I soon found one large script too unwieldy); and these scripts have been 'run' successfully a number of times, so should enable you to quickly check that the game works correctly. The four scripts all have start/end points which make fairly logical SAVE positions, if you want to stop, say, after the first two scripts and come back later. (There is NO use of the ‘diagonal’ directions, NE, NW, SE, and SW, in this game). The game starts in the reading room of the public library in a small Scottish town where the professor has fallen asleep and been locked in on Saturday afternoon.
