Notes on the game 'I didn't know you could Yodel'. Windows95/DOS compatible. (Works best in 95. If you can't run it, create a bootdisk) The first thing you'll notice when you run the game is that it looks really professional like it was released. Are intention here was to honor Infocom, and if you look at the beginning of an Infocom game, ours mimics it in this fashion. Notice the phoney version number and serial # (the serial # is 8675309 - aka Tommy Two Tune musical hit). I included the Readme.txt file we included, since that is funny too. You'll notice our internet service provider is no longer (for example, it contains my invalid email address). It was on this site we kept our source code. Our stuff was wiped, and we were stuck with a beta version we could not change. I can supply an older version of the code if you would like for proof, but its not as complete as the final. I could recreate it, but it would take too much work. After the contest, I would like to try to release it, if that's ok with you guys. Things the Judges should know: There is a save feature! Use it! It's fast, and you can get through the game quicker! And Examine the self-help section in the book store!!! Type Restart, Load, Save, and Quit for the obvious functions. Type in full sentences! It works! Use periods to separate commands (just like Infocom!) You can use the word 'it' and 'again', and 'take all but...' l = inventory, l = look, look = look Use many different words! The Vocab has over 600 words (just like infocom!) The game really shines once you complete the bookstore. You never have to go back to the bookstore. Remember - SELF-HELP And, when its all said and done, type 'vanna' to play hangman!!! The ending is very fulfilling, but you won't understand it fully till you play it through. The game was written in Modula-2. My partner, Michael Eisenman (now deceased), but we both worked our butts off on it. WalkThrough: Eat Cereal. Get Plane. N Fly plane. climb tree.
