A Bear's Night Out- Official Walkthrough First off, the compulsory plea to all who are reading this: please go back and try again! And if you really are terribly stuck, try the online hints, which are quite complete. You really shouldn't need this file at all. Ok, still persisting? Here we go then: Not quite. First you can familiarise yourself with the available map. I don't want to waste my time and yours with D. NW. N. N. W etc. If I tell you where to go you should know where it is. It's a small map, ok? Ok. Things you should do for a start: Get your nice warm jacket from the cupboard. Wear it. The jacket has big pockets to help you carry things. Get the yellow ball from the south hallway, you'd be surprised what you can do with the yellow ball. Search the pile of papers in the study. Twice. Examine what you find. Ah, the plot thickens. Now, would you like to try this yourself? You can stop reading right now you know. Holly is in the lounge room. Pat her, there's a good bear. Oh and while you're there turn on the tv. Now for some more serious puzzle solving: Pull the cord in the kitchen, and see what happens. If you really feel brave, UNDO that and try to find the alternative way to get that score. Get the tape. Open the drawer in the bathroom. Seems a bit loose? Pull it. Get the yoyo too. Try going down. Can't see eh? Well the yoyo was glow in the dark. Take it to the lounge room where the tv awaits. It works, seriously, I tried this out with the actual items in real life. Trust me. Ok, so go back to the hole, and voila you can see! Hmm, the pipe seems to be stuck. Try throwing something at it. Get the key, oh and open that capsule to get the disk. Now, back to the study. Unlock the cabinet and open it. When you are holding both the tape and the dictaphone, put the one in the other. Now you're in business. Back to the lounge, and take notice of that tv advertisement. Press the red button on the tape recorder to get that password for posterity. Now, to the phone! Can't get to the phone? Ok, there are three ways up there. One, push the ergonomic chair to the kitchen, climb on it, then on the bench. Two, get Holly to the kitchen, pat her to sleep, get on her, and throw the ball at the phone. Three, oh you can't do three yet, so don't worry. Can't get Holly to the kitchen? Try waving the ball to wake her up if she's asleep, then go to the kitchen and wave it again. Unless she's fallen asleep in the meantime (she'll do that sometimes) Holly should come running. Ok, you're on the bench. Dial 72 on phone, just to get back to the plot. Here's another chance to stop reading and start playing. Go on, give it a try. Still with us? Dial 95 on phone. Press the white button. More points for you. Go to the entrance hall to collect your chip. Open the box and search it. Read the leaflet. Hmm, something missing? Search the box again. And again. A sense of adventure: The time has come to play games. You might have noticed. So get onto the table. Can't do that? Try the cat trick I mentioned before. Or the third thing from before. Oh I didn't say what that was, sorry. It's fun. Find it for yourself. This bit is easy. Put the chip in the computer, then one of the 3 disks. Then turn the computer on and do pretty much anything. Told you it was easy. Play all 3 games. Now what have you got? A hat, have a look at that, then wear it. Honey, have a look at that too. Oops. And a stamp. Can't get the stamp onto the card? No problem. Holly to the rescue, just show her the stamp. When she's awake. And within reach. Now affix the stamp to the card. Nearly there, just one puzzle to solve. By now you'll have learnt there's honey in the kitchen. But what to do with it? Well it probably should go into the basket for the picnic. Last chance, please try this for yourself. Please. Can't do it? Push the chair into the kitchen, and the box, and the basket if you had pushed it away. Now get onto the bench and push the honey. Wasn't so hard was it? Now go and get a good night's sleep on the bed or the pile of clothes. Congratulations! I just finished the game for you. Hope you enjoyed it all the same.
